Adjustment
The most important part of the healing process here at Hyde Family Chiropractic. Dr. Kenzie has training with children, moms through pregnancy, athletes, and more! She changes her style of adjustment for each patient to ensure each patient receives personalized care. Some techniques utilized in our office: Instrument (Activator), SOT, Diversified, Thompson, and Upper Cervical.
IASTM
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, or IASTM, is a technique used to help relax muscles or tissue that might be tight or have scar tissue built up. This technique includes using a stainless steel tool that massages/scrapes over the skin to help relax the muscle. This can help promote healing in the area as well as increase the overall range of motion.
Ultrasound & Muscle Stim
Ultrasound and Muscle stim can help promote healing as well. Ultrasound uses sound waves to help break up tissue while muscle stim can be used to help decrease pain. These therapies can be used individually or together.
Hair Scan Analysis
We are so excited to offer hair scan analysis kits! The kit will be mailed to your home where you will collect a few hair samples to be mailed off.
The kit includes everything you need to collect your hair — instructions, pre-paid/labeled return packaging, tweezers, and gloves. This makes it convenient to drop off the package off at the post office!
Once the kit is sent off and received by the lab, they will do the hair scan and produce a 30+ page report. This report includes personalized info and recommendations on vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, anti-oxidants, radiation, mold exposure, parasites, food restrictions, and so much more! This report truly gives us a road map to your wellness journey at a more affordable price point than multiple labs being ran.
Hair scans are good for 90 days after collection. This means we always suggest a follow up hair scan in a few months to see how any lifestyle changes or supplement recommendations are affecting your body. We want to test and not guess when it comes to your health.
So how do I order this hair scan analysis kit?
Go ahead and call or text our office at (402) 442-0333 and we will get a kit ordered for you and mailed off. We will set up a patient profile for you (if you aren’t a patient already) and e-mail you a form with all the info we need to order the kit. Note: Payment ($250) is required before we order the kit. This cost includes the kit, postal charges, and an appointment with Dr. Kenzie to review your report. Some HSA accounts may cover this kit, but you must check with your insurance plan. We are not responsible if a HSA card denies your payment and payment will still be expected for the service. This service does not go through insurance and is a private self pay kit. A receipt can be given, but no superbill can be supplied due to the nature of the kit.
How long does it take to get my results?
We always suggest sending your kit in the mail earlier in the week so the lab can scan the hair within a few days for the most accurate results. We usually see reports in within a week of mailing. Keep in mind sometimes natural disasters, holidays, and weekends can make the wait a little longer than 7 days. I mailed my kit on a Tuesday and had my report by Friday!
Hair Scan Analysis Process
(1) Call or Text the office at (402) 442-0333. Let us know you want to order a hair scan kit and have your payment ready.
(2) Form is e-mailed to you or filled out on the phone.
(3) Pay for your kit online or over the phone.
(4) Kit is ordered and mailed to your home.
(5) Kit arrives and hair is collected. Instructions and everything you need is included.
(6) Mail off hair sample in the pre-paid and pre-labeled packaging. (USPS is used)
(7) Lab receives your hair sample. Performs the hair scan and produces a 30+ page report.
(8) Report is sent to Dr. Kenzie. Once received she will reach out via a call or text.
(9) Hair Scan Analysis report review appointment is scheduled.
(10) Attend appointment either virtually or in person at the office. Dr. Kenzie will review the report with you and give any lifestyle changes or recommendations. A 90 day follow up scan may be recommended.
Functional Medicine
Now accepting new functional medicine clients!
Now offering functional medicine appointments — a systems biology-based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. If you have been struggling with chronic disease, fatigue, or other symptoms you might be a candidate for functional medicine care. Although we are not treating or curing these conditions, we are looking at your body as a whole and making sure each system is functioning at its best so you can feel at your best.
In order to help you reach your goals, we will collect information to help create an individualized care plan with lifestyle changes. This information will be from detailed case history, questionnaires, surveys, lab tests, or physical exams. Once this information is reviewed by Dr. Kenzie, she will go over what she calls the “game plan”. This can include diet changes, exercise goals, supplements and more.
Some of the supplement lines we use include Standard Process, Thorne, and CellCore. We work with you and your budget for supplements, but we also want to make sure you are receiving quality products that work!

Will a child be adjusted like this — most likely not! We adjust children different than we would adults — not twisitng or cracking for the kiddos, especially newborns!
